In efforts of having other functions at the Duck Festival Facility, the Duck Festival entered into an agreement with Le Krewe du le Originales et Les Enfants to co-host an annual Mardi Gras Run & Parade.

February 10^th, 2007 was the first Mardi Gras Run and was a complete success. 

The 2010 Run is slated for Saturday, January 30, 2010.  Activities include a Friday night registration at the Duck Festival Grounds along with food for the Krewe.  On Saturday morning, the registration will begin early and the run will start approximately 9:00.  The run will include old time chicken throws, half and half and an auction.

The Run will finish up in the Town of Gueydan and the Parade will consists of a round of main street.  After the parade, you will be treated to live entertainment Saturday night at the Duck Festival Pavilion.  Food and drinks will be available.
