Gueydan Duck Festival Senior Pageant

The Senior queen pageant is for young ladies from 17 to 23, single, with no children and never been married. They must be sponsored by an organization, city or town.

The Pageant is held the Saturday of the Festival at the Duck Festival grounds in the Main Pavilion. The interviews are held in the morning where the judges can meet each individual contestant on a one-on-one basis.

The winner of the contest is crowned Duck Festival Queen and represents Gueydan at all the other area festivals as a visiting queen. She also represents the Duck Festival at the Queens of Queens contest at the next L.A.F.F. Convention.  Sponsored in part by Les Dames de Gueydan
